Mini Coffee Bar Station Makeover

5:06 am

After my kitchen was painted all white, I decided to turn the smallest counter top into a Mini Coffee Bar or Coffee Station. I already had the Keurig Coffee Maker, but that’s all I had!

This is the counter top prior to my cabinets being painted white.

I found this “Coffee, Anyone?” slab of wood at Hobby Lobby to place right under the cabinet and it was a perfect centered fit. As of today, February 25, 2019, it’s on sale for $7.99 on Hobby Lobby website. If you happen to miss this sale, be sure to print out or use the 40% off one item coupon they have on a regular basis.

For some reason, mine didn’t come with hanging hardware so I used these Scotch Adhesive Mounting Putty which holds up to 1 lb and is easily removable from backsplash versus using nails. These things are the real deal ya’ll!

Saw this Hammered Metal Cupcake 3 Tier Stand in Stainless Steel and Gold or Brass. I loved it, so had to have it. I purchased this from Home Goods for $24.99. This was a good price and I couldn’t find a deal close to this online to share with you. If you find a good deal on this style, please share and I’ll add for folks looking for budget friendly options.

Later I found this hammered tray at Ross which matches perfectly! I love me some Ross! Always a good deal so scored this for $14.99.

You could also try a ceramic cupcake Tier stand. Here is a budget friendly 3 Tier Ceramic Cupcake stand. This would look fabulous with another white ceramic gold trimmed plate or tray to get a similar look mini coffee bar station. This one is $21.99 on Amazon as of February 24, 2019. Amazon has a lot of gorgeous budget friendly ceramic cupcake tier stands to choose from.

My Coffee station is coming along quite well! Now it’s time to shop for containers.

I decided to go with transparent jars. One to hold instant coffee and the other to hold a variety of coffee sweetener packets.

I got the transparent jars from Hobby Lobby clearance for less than $3 total. I thought about labeling them with some cute labels, but decided not to just in case I want to swap out the fillers later.

The humorous quote paper coffee cups with lids came from Amazon. Some visitors prefer a regular coffee mug so I have these conveniently located in the cabinet above My Mini Coffee Bar Station.

So here is the ending results of my Mini Coffee Bar Station Makeover!

“Before”

“After”

Yesss! You may have noticed I also updated my ancient fluorescent kitchen lights and added some bar counter pendant lights too in the process 😀

The cabinets are painted in oil-based shade Creamy by Sherwin Williams. I got the satin nickel cabinet handles on Amazon.

Thank you for checking out my blog! I welcome your feedback and sharing these posts.
